Sounds like a plan to me. I hope it take a while for them to come back for us!

On a former post I was just relating to what happened when I was with friends a few months ago who crossed over from Nogales, MX w/o a passport, they were allowed to enter with just a DL and a certified copy of their birth certificate. In fact there were quite a few Americans crossing w/o a passport at the port of entry in Nogales.
Just wanted to give you this link for more info: http://acrosstheborder.wordpress.com...at-the-border/ Last year my friend only had her DL and no birth certificate leaving RP, they just wrote her up as non-compliant. Basically if you can prove you are a US citizen the US cannot deny you entry into your homeland. Know your rights!

A couple of week ago I called the border office in Lukeville and they told me that they still accepting the DL and birth certificate, it just will delay things but they will let you back in!! although for a couple of bottles of tequila I will collect all passports and hide them for a week or so in a safe place so you can partay more!!!
